Hi! I wanted to start this page because I've thought allot about different ways albums fit together, Easter eggs in episodes, character ages and much more! If you're new to the whole, theories within entertainment thing, here are a few words that might come up in this page.
-Easter Eggs: Easter Eggs are when a company puts sneak peaks in episodes that foretell something in a future episode. -Theories: Theories in general are just ideas fans have come up with to explain certain things either to make the show more fun for others and to also just to have fun! So the first one is really cool! In The Green Ring Conspiracy, Whit told Jason, "Son, don't get lost in The Labyrinth." Then, two albums later, there was a an episode called The Labyrinth. In The Labyrinth, they said, "The pilot." Two albums later, there was an episode called, The Pilot! In The Pilot, the Dr. said, "We're not out of the woods yet." TWO ALBUMS LATER!!! THERE WAS AN EPISODE CALLED, get this. OUT OF THE WOODS! Coincidence? I think not! In the next album there will be an episode that was stated in Taking The Plunge. I think it might be called, "You won't be disappointed." Buck says it to Dion in Out of the Woods. But, only time will tell if I was right....... |
Ok, theory number 2! (Yay) So in the episode "Best Laid Plans" one of the gang members at Oswald Hights name is Vince. This Vince could be the same Vince in "The Bad Guy." There's actually a bit more proof than you might think. The way Connie said, "Thanks, Vince, for those LOVELY armpit noises, kind of DID make it sound like she knew him and maybe that she was even a little disappointed. But wait, there's more because what if, this same Vince happened to have a child named Vance! Yup! It is possible that this very same Vince, is none other than Vance King's father. You can here Vince and Vance in album 59, Taking the Plunge.

Theory number 3. On the Oddcast Devon that Dr. Regis Blackgaard is Buck's father. The story goes that Whit and his sister, Charlotte began to work on applesause together, along with Blackgaard. Soon after Regis and Charlotte started dating. During this time, Mr. Whitaker worked with Tasha Forbes to create TA418. But because of his distrust of Blackgaard and his relationship with Charlotte, Whit didn't give them any details about it, and that's how Blackgaard knew about the formula in A Name Not a Number. After a while, Blackgaard and Charlotte announced their engagement. Whit advised against it, see the evil deep inside Regis. Angry and disappointed the couple eloped and ran away together, they had a child together, but by then Charlotte realized Whit was right (As always) about Blackgaard. Crushed, humiliated, and frightened, Charlotte left their child with Regis because he reminded her too much of her passed life. The child, Buck grew up with Blackgaard, treated horribly and always feeling as if his father was hiding something. Because he was gone so often, Regis placed Buck in foster care at the age of 5, but visited when he could. After Blackgaard's death, Buck moved from home to home until he was adopted by Mr. Skint at the age of 8. (This happened around the same time as Blackgaard's revenge) With Skint, Buck picked up his well known accent and learned how to be a con artist. When Buck was 14 he and Mr. Skint took their carnival to Odyssey and took part in a counterfeiting scam. Under the influence of Katrina Meltsner, Buck turned himself in to the authorities and Mr. Skint abandoned him. After an unknown time in Juvenal Detention, Katrina and Eugene Meltsner took him in as a foster child and will probably adopt him in album 61 or 62. If this theory is true, that means Whit is Buck's uncle. It's a good theory, but without much evidence. Today however, I found something that backs it up just a bit. In the album, Virtual Realities, there are three episodes that stood out to me. They are, "Blackgaard's Revenge" parts 1-2 and the "Buck Starts Here." This got me thinking, wait, the BUCK starts here?! Yep, the Buck starts here. But what does it mean???? Well, the episode right before it is called "Blackgaard's Revenge" so maybe when they say, the buck starts here, it really means Buck's future starts here. His future with Mr. Skint. But, there's more proof. Every Odyssey year is about 3 albums, and like I said, if Buck came to live with Mr. Skint when he was 8, then the time from Virtual Realities to The Green Ring Conspiracy would be about 6 years. And it is. The time line matches perfectly. But, it get's crazier. Virtual Realities is album 33. And The Green Ring Conspiracy, is album 53. But, you know, maybe it's just a coincidence. But according to Whit, nothing is coincidental. And the Whit never lies.

Theory Number 3! Fellow Odyssians, I have cracked the case, the code that Odyssey lovers have been searching for for years. The question that puts all of aio just on the verge of reality, yet keeps it so far. But today, I, Penny Bassett have uncovered, ODYSSEY TIME! Yes, it's really true! Under deep investigation I have figured out that every 4 albums, is another year. That puts the entire Odyssey timeline at about 14 years. It also means that Connie is 30, Eugene is 33 and Wooton is 34, just to name a few. So, to make it easy for all of us, I have compiled a chart, so we can all know when everything is!
